After You Get Home

Follow any instructions given for taking your medications, suggestions for rest and diet.

You will be discharged home with minimal pain or discomfort, however should you experience any unexpected change to your condition or other emergency, or if you have any concerns you should:

• Telephone your Surgeon immediately or
• Seek Medical Advice from your GP or
• Present to your nearest hospital Emergency Department.

You may receive a follow up phone call from the Procedure Centre Nurses the day after your procedure to check your progress.
